Welcome back to SGAB! Today I'm going to share with you some of the changes that will be made on my blog. First there will be more visual images, courtesy of the royalty-free image website Pixabay. The above picture is just a sample of what you can find on there. One brand new category will be added for those of you who may not be interested in beauty or the spiritual aspect of my blog. I will be adding in some lifestyle posts, which will include other things such as cooking and recipes, wellness, health, organization, amongst other things. This means that I will be posting three times each week featuring brand new content. I am also opening my blog to anyone who would like to be a guest blogger. Just send me an email or use the contact form on the Contact page. My email is [email protected]. In the subject, make sure to put "Guest Blogger Inquiry". I hope you'll enjoy the new content coming your way, and I hope to make this blog as appealing to my readers as I possibly can. As always, feel free to share this blog with your family and friends, and don't forget to visit the Facebook page for more inspiration and uplifting content. Patricia (Blog Author)

June 19th, 2017 I turned 25 years old. It's been a long and bumpy ride, but I'm here to tell you that God has really blessed me, and He's carried me through the thick and thin. Twenty five years on earth, and I've learned so many lessons that it's hard to keep track of. Here are just a few...
1) Don't hold a grudge. You may think you're holding someone else in bondage, but you're really putting yourself in a prison. Let go and let God. 2) Be the person your dog thinks you are. Self-explanatory really. 3) Just because you have an opinion, it doesn't give you the right to spew hate. Oh my gosh, I cannot stress how important it is to take a step back before you post something on Facebook or whatever you have. You can lose relationships and get backlash for anything and everything nowadays. 4) Just relax. Sometimes just taking a deep breath and running a warm bath is all you need to relax and take a break. Yes, you deserve a break. Everyone does. 5) Put God first. Put God first and everything else will fall into place. (Matthew 6:33) I hope some of these tips will help you live life to the fullest in the years to come. Patricia (Blog Author) *says in a pastor's tone of voice* Please turn in your Bibles to the book of Romans chapter eight, and please look at verse twenty eight.
Alright, now that I have the humor out of the way, let's jump straight into it. This post is going to be short and sweet because it's one of my journal entries from a Bible challenge that I did with a friend recently. Lesson 1: It will all work out if we love God first. God promises so many things, but one of the best ones is in this verse; He says that it will work out for THOSE WHO LOVE GOD. So make sure your heart is in the right place. Lesson 2: He calls us for His purpose, to do His will. We weren't created to sit around and twiddle our thumbs. We were created to do something to build the kingdom of God. Each of us has a specific talent and a specific spiritual gift given to us by Almighty God Himself. We need to use it to the best of our ability. Lesson 3: God says ALL things will work out, not just SOME things. I love how God is so inclusive. He says that ALL people can come to Him. ALL creation should sing His praises. ALL sins shall be forgiven. ALL things will work out. But remember, you have to love Him first and foremost and put Him first in what? ALL things. I hope this was a blessing to someone. Make sure to tell a friend about SGAB, and visit my Facebook page at Southern Grace And Beauty for more spiritual growth and biblical truths. With love, Patricia (Blog Author) About two months ago, I approached a Christian blogger from Forever Beloved via email, and she agreed to let me be a guest blogger for her site. I am super excited to announce that the post went live this morning, and below is a link. Make sure to read some of her posts too!
